The key principles that I cover are:
- A trauma, illness or injury can cause your body to get stuck in the stress response, which can lead to a wide range of chronic illnesses. Calming the stress response allows the body to heal.
- Your brain wires up according to how you use it. There are certain patterns that people with chronic illness can get stuck in which can further exacerbate illness. Learning to rewire your neural pathways allows the body to heal.
- Unresolved emotion can get trapped in the body and produce disease. Clearing these emotions can allow the body to heal.

New Zealand GP Conference Presentation
I was very excited to present at the national GP Conference in Rotorua this year! I spoke about mind-body interaction and how stress causes so many of the illnesses that GPs will see. I gave them lots of tips on changes they can make in their own practice to help patients gain more sense of control over their own well-being. I was also invited to do this interview to help spread the word further!
